The Department of Sports Medicine and Active Health has long been developing partnerships with leading sports clubs, academies, and research institutions. Our goal is to bridge the gap between science and practice, promote healthy and effective athletic performance, and contribute to the development of both young talents and elite athletes.

Sports Clubs

  • FC Viktoria Plzeň
We collaborate with the leading soccer club in the Plzeň Region on scientific projects in the fields of sports physiology and performance diagnostics. We conduct stress tests on players, monitor their physiological indicators, and help optimize the training process based on real-time data. This collaboration bridges modern scientific methods with everyday sports practice.

Academies and the Development of Young Athletes

  • Roman Kreuziger Cycling Academy (RKCA)
We help support a cycling academy dedicated to training young, talented riders from across the Czech Republic. The RKCA provides athletes with professional training conditions, systematic guidance, and the resources they need to develop into elite athletes. Our collaboration brings scientific insights from the fields of physiology and nutrition to the training process.
  • Pilsen Triathlon Academy (TAP)
TAP focuses on the comprehensive development of young triathletes. We are involved in stress testing, performance monitoring, and educating both coaches and athletes in the field of sports medicine. Our shared goal is to develop athletes with a long-term perspective and an emphasis on healthy development.
  • Academy of Individual Sports (AIS)
The AIS brings together the most talented athletes from the Pilsen Region across various disciplines.
The institute provides expert guidance, testing, and educational activities in the fields of exercise physiology, recovery, and injury prevention.
The goal is to help young athletes reach their full potential in a natural and stable training environment.

Training Centers

  • Get Up Gym Plzeň
Together with Get Up Gym, we are creating a space where science, modern training, and practical application come together. We help monitor physiological parameters during exercise, track the impact of training methods on performance and health, and develop a concept for an active lifestyle based on scientific findings.

Science and Technologies

  • University of West Bohemia in Pilsen
Our collaboration with the University of West Bohemia focuses primarily on a project utilizing infrared technologies to measure body temperature and diagnose athletes in extreme conditions.
This research opens up new possibilities for preventing overheating and hypothermia, applicable to both professional and recreational athletes.
Together, we are pushing the boundaries of applied science in sports medicine.

Common Goal

All of these collaborations share a common goal: to improve health, performance, and the long-term sustainability of sports. By integrating research, education, and practical application, we bring cutting-edge insights directly to sports teams, academies, and individual athletes.
